As Tsing brews a cup of tea, her thoughts drift through the paths that shaped her design practice. Photography was her entryway into creative technology. Volunteering with the 988 Crisis Hotline deepened her commitment to designing for impact—especially in healthcare and wellness, where care is a basic human need.
These threads eventually converged in her work designing physical–digital systems, where tangible interactions extend the reach of digital interfaces. By the time she pauses, the tea has gone cold—unnoticed.
